Another one for the lost Windsor category. The long demolish Royal Windsor Garage. The Royal Windsor Garage was located on Dougall between University and Park, and sat to the rear of the Royal Windsor Apartments. The Rose Garden Villa Long Term Care Home currently occupies the site today. I’m not sure when it was demolished. It’s visible in the aerial photo I have access to from 1961, but it’s already gone and replaced in the photo from 1981. If it stayed the official garage of the Norton Palmer, it may have lasted into the late 1970’s along with the hotel. Anyone remember this place?

Nice looking building. Are those a pair of gas pumps out front? A sign says Nash, did they have a dealership as well?
WOW!!! Great find! I was born and raised in Windsor and never knew this place existed! The Royal Windsor Apartments are still there at least....one can imagine this immense service garage almost attached to the apartments!.
I believe that the Mercury Dealer Nobel Duff Motor Sales occupied that garage prior to it being torn down
Definitely remember a car dealership in the building. Noble Duff was a Ford dealer (also had a dealership in Sarnia, I think).
