Built in 1923, the school was designed by local architect David J. Cameron. It stands at the north west corner of Parent & Giles. It is currently home to the Giles Campus French Immersion School. Contained in this post are a series of photographs taken shortly after the building was built. The appeared in the December, 1923 issue of “Construction” magazine.

It's been many years since I've been inside the building, but in the picture the doors are covered in glass panes, but the exterior shot shows only little windows that children are looking out of. I wonder why the inside view of the doors and the outside views don't match.
I remember being in the room at the top of the west entrance stair well. It was a few steps up from the 3rd floor and it had a nice fireplace as though it may have been an apartment when built. When I saw it there were several teachers desks around the space.
thank you
my kids go to this school now
love seeing it how it was
