Jackson Park Sunken Gardens – c 1940

A nice view from the same set of postcards as Friday’s shot. This one is looking at Kennedy Collegiate from Jackson Park, which I won’t deny is my favourite park in the city.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

  • Can almost hear the crunch of my shoes on those paths and the smell of those flowers on my way into that beautiful school. We had a similar picture on our Kencol Yearbook from 1962. Thanks the memories, Andrew.

  • Thought I read somewhere that students at Walkerville were thinking of taking on this park as a school project. Guess the modern day bums at Kennedy are too lazy to do so.
