Here’s a rare one from the Bernie Drouillard collection. Believe it or not, but Tecumseh had regional transit for the first six months of 1986.
The bus was owned/operated by Chatham Coach Lines for the town of Tecumseh as “Tecumseh Transit” for a six month trial. The trial failed as a result of low ridership.

Hmmm...is it just me or did that old coach do duty with GO Transit?
At a glance, the paint scheme is very similar.... I can see what you mean.
Gentlemen you are correct it is ex GO Transit #1505,, in fact Chatham Coach Lines purchased six of these coaches from GO Transit, two of them operated for Chatham Transit where Chatham Coach Lines operated transit since 1948 until sold to Laidlaw Transit Feb. 2000.
Just wondering, could i bring my pup on the bus? The route is very convenient from home to vet's.
Wow! Thanks for the pic!
