Windsorites, get out there and vote!
I’m sure that another pathetic and embarrasing display of about 35% of the eligible voters will actually come out and vote.
It’s kind of ironic how the vote occurs only two days after Rememberance Day. All those brave men and women who died for your right to vote, and the majority of the City is too lazy to take 5-10 minutes out of their busy lives to vote.
Follow the results here tonight: http://elections.citywindsor.ca/
So get out there and do your civic duty today.
I’ll see you at the polls!

Remarks in the Windsor Star today indicate that they expect a lower voter turnout this time. Apparently someone there thinks there aren't any hot debate issues on the table to interest voters. What about the border crossing saga? The Riverside Bike Path drama? The bungled arena situation? And we'll give the skunk and pit bull controversies honorable mention as well. ;)
Anyone who can't think of a good reason to think hard about what candidate(s) they want at city hall just isn't looking hard enough. Windsor is at a crossroads right now and we need strong voter turnout more than before.
