Classic Airliner

Pictured above is a super stretch Convair 5800. A 5800 is a CV-580 that has an extra 14 feet of fueselage added to it. That old bird started life as a CV-340 (a 580 is a modification to Turboprops) way back in 1953. Photo taken at the Windsor Airport.

  • According to Rick Mercer they are supposed to be doing away with these prop jobbies in Canada and getting a jet engine plane soon.

  • aca en el aeropuerto de la aurora Guatemala el dia 11 colapso el tren de nariz de un convair N171FL, tengo entendido que esta empresa esta en Miami y que tienen otros convair similares a este que tuvo el problema en Guatemala, si no recuerdo mal tienen uno con modificacion del 2002? claro que lo la empresa Kelowna del Canada
