A shot from 1964 showing the billboard that once stood on the roof of the Douglas Building on the southeast corner of Ouellette and Wyandotte.

  • How well I remember that sign from umpteen trips by bus or car as Kathryn from the old South Walkerville and I from the wartime housing district (now a part of South Walkerville, to my everlasting amusement) on our way to U of W, marriage and a wonderful life in the West. Thanks for the memories.

  • Nice companion to the neon that flashed across the river that said something like "Windsor....Stop, Stay, Save, Play".
