Here’s a picture of an example of what was known as the Cincinnati Street Car series. This shot was taken on London Street (now University Ave) at Pelissier about 1930.
What if I told you one of these cars stayed in the area and has recently been unearthed. Despite being out of service for nearly 70 years, a large part of a similar car still exists…

I'm glad you brought this up. I was on the site about two weeks ago and have pictures. A very interesting scenario.
OK, you got me. Why a "Cincinnati street car"? It's not a double pole car. Is the track wide (5' 2 1/2") gauge like Cinci?
Doug, "Cincinnati" is the builder. The car Andrew posted above was built in 1918 and was originally in service in New Jersey before becoming SW&A fleet. This criteria applies to other cars (including the one being restored) with fleet numbers between 351-370 as well.
Great image. I'm following this story. Thanks!
