St Anne’s Separate School on Monmouth Rd in Walkerville is seen in this photo above that ran in the construction company’s ad in December of 1960. Modern renovations have stripped all Mid-Century Style and Design from the building, but it’s still in use and well attended.

The original building's face is still mostly intact. It hasen't been stuccoed...yet. But I checked it out on Google Street View, and thought "oh, look at those awful additions." But then I went back to the older views, and it looks like they've added more portables . But they look attached to the building. Are they intended to be temporary? They look terrible. So many schools closing, kids getting bussed all over, and they have to add even more nasty portables to the schools that are still open?
