Back in November, 2010 there was this post about the City Hall.In that post there were some disagreements over the location of the City Hall.
The photo above comes from the Walkerville Times Collection that was digitized and is housed at the South Western Digital Archive at the University of Windsor.
As you can see here, the building was right at the corner of Drouillard & Riverside.
Hope everyone had a good long weekend. Enjoy the short week!

Does anyone have a picture of the original church?
I wish I did Daniel. Looking online, I couldn't turn anything up. I'm actually surprised there are no pictures, especially when the Church was built well into the age of photography.
Disappointing. (I'm sure it was just a small wooden church).
I found some info on the original Lady of the Lake church that sits at the corner of riverside Dr. and Drouillard. Here is the link showing the pics of the orig. one and the one there today. It does mention that a fire destroyed the old one. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~detroitchurches/page63.htm
