As everyone is aware, Windsor has probably one of the best independent restaurant markets in Ontario. While on my bike ride out to Lakeview Marina for the now infamously cancelled Peche Island day, I rode past the Bon Friand Vietnamese restaurant and made a note to go back and check it out.
While in a bit of a strange location for an Asian restaurant (Wyandotte St. E., just west of Jefferson), I figured it was worth a visit.
The food was great, and pricing was on par with many of those restaurants in the west end. If you like Asian food, and you’re looking for somewhere new to try, you couldn’t do much better than the Bon Friand.
Check it out and make sure you support your local restaurants.

The sign perpendicular to the street is still up, but the other one now says "Canasa Printing" and it looks closed up as well.
