Funerary Parducci’s

In Detroit’s beautiful Woodlawn Cemetery one can find the stunning Art Deco Wilson Mausoleum.

Comissioned by Matilda Dodge Wilson and designed according to the late A. Dale Northrup’s great book on the cemetery, in 1939 by New York City Architect William Henry Deacy. The Wilson Mausoleum is located right next to her late Husband’s & Brother-in-law’s Egyptian Revival Mausoleum.

Both the above medaillion…

…and the ornate Bronze Door were designed by noted Detroit Sculptor Corrado Parducci, who also worked for Mrs. Wilson on Meadowbrook Hall.
