This postcard from 1938, shows Windsor’s Norton-Palmer hotel, as well as the sister hotel acorss the river in Detroit, the Hotel Norton.
The back of the card reads:

I recently came across this neat old postcard from 1957.
There are several things that jump out at me in this card…
On the north shore, the land for Cobo Hall & Arena has been cleared.

Then & Now 1911 - 2006

I came across this postcard a few years ago. It was simply marked “Walkerville, Ont.” and postmarked 1911. No other details.
Luckily the former town of Walkerville was fairly small in land size. The town was only 5 blocks wide, but several miles long. Development started at the river and headed south.
