Paramount Apartments

One of the buildings I’ve been meaning to cover for a while, and one that’s come in as a suggestion to feature is the Paramount Apartments on Ouellette just south of Gilles. This building has always kind of reminded me of the demolished Madison Lenox in Detroit.

Happy Friday once again. Today’s photo is a neat old one of the corner of Ouellette and Erie. The date on the back of this one is marked April 21, 1937. But judging from the photo, that is the date of a reprint, the actual photo is probably closer to 20 years earlier.
