Scene of an intentionally set fire earlier this week, 579 Church is probably not long for this world.
These photos above date from 2002, and in the last 13 years, the house has suffered from a lack of maintenance and care, but was still a great old Queen Anne style house.

Kingsville Station - 1899

A nice old photo from the Mason & Rice archives. The station in Kingsville was designed by Mason & Rice and built in 1888 as part of the Lake Erie, Essex and Detroit River Railway which was built by Hiram Walker. Although the railway is now long gone, the station still stands today in Kingsville, and is home to the Mettawa Station Restaurant.

End Of The Line For 839

Back in 2001, I took a few shots of a great old house at 839 Assumption. Signs pointed to it being built about 1906, although I suspect it was about 10-15 years older. A well worn, old inner-city home.
It sold cheap in the summer of 2007….
