Car #95 looks like the electric equivilent of a Jordan Spreader. So yes, it would be used for snow "relocation"......
#95 could be used for multiple things. Jordan Spreader was originally created to move ballast around the contours of the rail head. Later ideas came as to help push snow off of the center of the rail, and avoid having costly problems with late trains and also derailments with hard compact snow.
According to the fleet list 95 was a work flat car which was rebuilt as a plough after 1919.
Andrew, does there exist a route map of the day for these streetcars? I know they ran out to tecumseh and aburg. But, what routes through the downtown and walkerville...?
