Detroit Cornice and Slate

So, I’m up in Ferndale the other day, and what do I stumble across but the Detroit Cornice and Slate Company.

As I’m sure everyone knows, the company’s old home downtown is now occupied by the Metro Times.

So here they are still plugging away after moving in 1972 from the downtown location.

Products advertised outside.

A plaque awared to the comapny after a century in business. I’m guessing if you needed either slate or cornice, there probably couldn’t be a better local source. http://www.detroitcorniceandslate.com/
