Hotel Dieu Convent / Nurses Residence

From the Windsor Star – March 12, 1965:

FINAL STEP – This convent-nurses’ residence is the last building to be erected in an intensive five-year building program by the Sisters of the Hospitallers of St. Joseph at Hotel Dieu. The new residence will stand on the site of the original 126-bed hospital that was opened 75 years ago.

The building on Erie just east of Ouellette is still standing, and is in good shape, although I’m not sure what it’s used for today, seeing as there are no more nuns and no more nurses who reside at the hospital.

Anyone know? I have been unable to locate the architect on this one, maybe J.P. Thomson?
