From a restaurant review that ran in the Free Press, April 22, 1988:
The building at Wyandotte and Kildare is more well known today as the Kildare House…
In the mid 1990’s I believe it was known as either Shilhouettes or the Limelight Lounge? Maybe both? I need a long time Walkerville resident to help me out here. Any other uses for this place over the years anyone else can recall?
Decades upon decades ago my great-grandparents used to live in the house next door (now the parking lot).
Before the Restaurants appeared it was: “Walkerville Florists ” from late ’70’s to mid to late ’80’s ? Mr. Rocheleau owner, was a founding member of the Walkerville BIA and street beautification at the time.
