Photo Du Jour – January 9, 2006 – Another One Bites The Dust…

On Alfred Street, in the block just east of Woodward, this past weekend this old Victorian House met the wrecking ball. Sadly this once grand beauty was beyond repair, as a fire caused the roof to collapse onto the second floor and buckle the outer wall towards the street.

You win some, you lose some. It’s still sad to see more history plowed under.
