February 13, 2006 – Lee Plaza

The other day I was heading into the City from the west. I got off at Grand Blvd. and decided to swing by and see how the old Lee Plaza was looking. It was obvious from the highway that she was looking pretty sad since her top was stolen, but I wanted to see first hand.

Compare the recent photo above, with the one below that was taken in the spring of 2003.

Even in her advanced state of disrepair, this Charles Noble designed structure is still amongst the most handsome buildings in the city.
