A view looking at the north east corner of Ottawa Street & Moy Avenue in September, 1959. The Woolworth store stands on the corner. An attractive art deco styled building, it is still standing and is home to Holland’s Consignment Shop today. A few doors east is Kozak’s Hotel. The building today is home to Rockhead Pub, but I recall Kozak’s by the sea being there and still open into the late 1990s…. These shots always make me happy, ones where many of the buildings are still standing. There’s something about great street shots like this that I really enjoy.
