Residential Section of Ouellette – c. 1937

A nice view looking north on Ouellette from about Pine Street. The top of the Medical Arts building is poking out on the left towards the top of the picture.

A close up of some of the cars with a hint of some of the houses along Ouellette. Maybe some of the car experts out there can help date the picture by the cars?

  • when you look at how baren ouellette is now in that area it's hard to believe it ever looked that good back then

  • What happened to all those trees? One of the only things I enjoy along Ouellette nowadays are some of the remaining apartment complexes of the 1920's and 1930's although most have seen better days.
