Here’s a postcard view of Assumption High School, probably early 1960’s. Look how calm and quiet Huron Church was…. is that a grassy median I spy?
The caption on this one reads:
I tried looking through my info, and I couldn’t find a date or architect for the building… I believe it was built around 1955/1956.
Maybe there is an alumni out there who can chime in with the answer.

Love the spirit Tristan and Adam!
Grassy median was there until early 90's when the read got expanded beyond 2 lanes in each direction IIRC.
I graduated in 1955 . We were at the original school on the college campus . I wasn't even aware the other school was being built . I transferred there in 1953 grade 10 from St. Joseph school on West Windsor . A lot of memories of those good years . Wish there was a way to hook up with some of the others from class of 1955 . Now living in Indiana for past 21 years . Do they ever have class reunions .
Would be fun .
Robert, have a look at http://achalumni.ca/ for info.
I went to Forster High School but remember many good times
in the late 70's going to dances at Assumption. They'd have
the latest bar bands such as Crystal Palace.
