News for the Weekend

I was passed along this information and asked to post it.

This Sunday at Assumption Church, there will be a full Latin Tridentine Mass.

While it will be a full on religious service, and will likely be long (1.5-2 hrs), it will feature great music with Orchestral accompaniment of Schubert’s Mass in G.

Who knows how long it will be until the diocese of London makes an attempt to close Assumption? This is a great chance to see the church in the setting it was designed for. Think of it as a free concert, check it out if your in the least bit interested.

If you have any questions or need more information, please call 519-734-1335 or email info@windsorlatinmass.org. Website can be found here.

  • Thanks for the post Andrew. It will be nice to see Assumption in the state for which it was intended. Let's hope that there is some media coverage which will benefit its historicity and preservation of such an incredible part of Windsor's heritage.
Just one more thing that could be part of a "Destination" package if those in charge would help out in promoting it as such.
