Windsor Beverages – 1948

Back in the years following WWII consumer products still had their regionalisms. Detroit had Faygo & Vernors, and while Coca-Cola and other national beverages were around, there was still a place for local drinks like Martin’s Ginger Ale and Sun Crest Orange.

The Windsor Beverages factory was located at 1291 Albert Rd, and no longer exists. The 1200 block of Albert Road ends at 1267, at the edge of Gary Dugal Park.
