Would anyone happen to have any pictures of the B/A original gas station that used to be on the north/east corner of Huron Church Road and Grand Marais? The one that used to be “King Kone”? Would love to have a picture of it when it was the gas station.
Sorry to be off-topic. Would anyone know if the Shawnee Gun Club still stands? Went there for frog legs in the 1950s with my Hebert family. Also, the Hebert block and Hebert bldg are noted. Do THEY still stand? My grandfather Raymond Pierre Hebert (Pierre Remie Hébert) was the proprietor of the Royal Oak Hotel. Sandwich “overlooking the Detroit River” in abt 1903. BA Oil was bought out by Gulf Oil. This was the Gulf Oil storage terminal. Oil and other products were stored in the building, with fuel storage tanks in the yard.
the Shell Terminal was next door to the west.
