Our Lady of the Lake – Walkerville

Continuing with the early era, edge of Walkerville churches, here today is an old postcard again about 1910, showing our Lady of the Lake church in Walkerville. Last known as Our Lady of the Rosary, the church was built in 1908 and closed in 2007, and it is currently vacant.

The intersection of Drouillard and Riverside drive looked more like a rural setting back a century ago.

Have a great weekend everyone, don’t forget that the 2014 Calendar is available over in the International Metropolis Shop. See you back here Monday.
