Well it’s that time again, the Auto Show is on over at Cobo Hall. This weekend is your last chance to get over there and check it out.
As always everything is to excess. New Orleans probably could have been rebuilt with the amount spent by the car companies on the displays. Speaking of Car Companies, aren’t there two who should be cutting costs, not buying 50 foot video screens?

The closest building was the Donovan Building, with the shorter building to the rear the Sanders building.

Located on Ouellette Ave in Windsor across from Hotel-Dieu Hospital is the vacant Medical Arts Building. It was built in 1930, designed by architect J.R. Sculland. The building has been vacant for several years, ever since the language school on the main floor closed up shop. There is some interest growing for a condo conversion project.

Located on the corner of John R. & Erskine in Brush Park, is the Patterson Terrace.
It is in my opinion a very nice looking structure, and it has spent the last few years boarded up.
