I orignally posted this mystery factory back in February. I recieved the answer to the mystery today by e-mail. Kevin who is an avid Buick historian offered this answer: The photo is not from Detroit but rather from Flint. It shows what was built as the W. F. As some of you may know, I spent the earlier part of the summer with my wife restoring rotted woodwork and painting our Victorian beast. This is where she sits for this year. Next year we hope to get a boom lift to paint up top… The porch needs a teardown and rebuild…

Lafayette Tool & Die
