St George’s Walkerville – 2017

Going through some older photographs, I came across these photos of St. George’s in Walkerville, just prior to demolition in April 2017.

It’s hard to believe that its been four years since the church and the adjacent hall were demolished in late 2017.

After sitting vacant for many years, there is finally a proposal for the land. A condo building is to be built on the site and will provide a nice buffer from the commercial zone on Ottawa Street to the residential area to the north. It’s nice to see some density coming into the more established part of town.
