Today’s photos come from regular reader and commenter Clare, who sent me these photos earlier this year.
Both photos show the Norwich Block area, in the period between demolition and before construction of the Candrel Building. The photos date to the Spring of 2000.

Hard to believe the decades coming to a close and even harder to remember what downtown looked like before the Chrysler headquarters was built.

The Canderal Stump. I think that they should reopen Fast Eddie’s and Elias Deli on the main floor in there.
