A couple of shots of my favourite local sign at dusk. It’s amazing that that neon is still glowing away for the most part after 40-50 years of service. More proof that they don’t build ’em like they used to!

I remember that there was a Metropolitan 5 and dime store in that shopping center. My girl friends from St-Gabriel’s school and I used to go there to buy chocolate chunks for 25cents for a pretty large chunk of pure, delicious milk chocolate. Patsy Morse, wherever you are, I remember some really nice times eating chocolate and playing with our dolls.
