
Pictured above is a super stretch Convair 5800. A 5800 is a CV-580 that has an extra 14 feet of fueselage added to it. That old bird started life as a CV-340 (a 580 is a modification to Turboprops) way back in 1953. Photo taken at the Windsor Airport.

According to Rick Mercer they are supposed to be doing away with these prop jobbies in Canada and getting a jet engine plane soon.
aca en el aeropuerto de la aurora Guatemala el dia 11 colapso el tren de nariz de un convair N171FL, tengo entendido que esta empresa esta en Miami y que tienen otros convair similares a este que tuvo el problema en Guatemala, si no recuerdo mal tienen uno con modificacion del 2002? claro que lo la empresa Kelowna del Canada
