From the Windsor Star – December 9, 1953:
Pictured here is the new Bell Telephone building which will house dial switching equipment to serve the LaSalle area when the new exchange is opened early next spring. The attractive one story structure is located on the east side of the River Front road. The LaSalle are is served at present by rural lines from Windsor. The new exchange will make individual or two-party service available within the town and will also serve the surrounding rural area. Calls between all Windsor and LaSalle numbers will be dialed direct, without long distance charges. Calls between Tecumseh and LaSalle will be by dialing “operator”, and long distance charges apply.

Is this building still there , or perhaps it has been re-purposed by Regency Realty.
Looking at the windows and entrance configuration it may be the same.

That's very interesting. I never knew there used to be a C.O. located there. Seeing that it was built in the 50s, I'm guessing it only lasted about 20-25 years before it was decommissioned? The C.O. currently housing dialtone equipment for Bell, MNSi, Primus, etc is located at 935 Laurier just east of the ETR tracks. Here it is: https://www.google.ca/maps/@42.230711,-83.079501,3a,75y,51h,87.04t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sXny3wXCNyBLsinSRwVpSlA!2e0
I am 99% certain this is the same building used by Regency Realty today. For many years it was a Big V Drug Store and was briefly a gift shoppe. Another cool Bell C.O. is located in south Windsor at Beals and Avondale.
