Ambassador Bridge – c. 1928

A photo of what must have been the winter of 1928-1929 as the bridge towers are done, but the roadway is still being laid.

Given the arctic blast of the last few days and the snow, it feels like today’s post is a natural fit.

This shot is looking east, Detroit on the left, and the Border Cities on the right.

Have a great weekend everyone, see you back here Monday.

**Also I’ve had a few people mention they’ve had some problems with the new format. Not working on a mac, another said he couldn’t print from the site, it locked up his computer. If you have any experienced anything weird, please let me know.
