This photo appeared in “Souvenir : Windsor and Walkerville, May, 1895 : Official Programme of Grand Military Demonstration, May 24th, 25th, and 26th, 1895.” published in 1895. It is a view of Walkerville from the Fire Station looking East towards Belle Isle.
That part of town has changed a little over the years… 🙂

It looks like the station was on the west side of Walker Road near Riverside Drive E. At least it was there in 1913 when the horse drawn rigs were replaced with motorized vehicles.

Also from SWODA http://swoda.uwindsor.ca/swoda/node/805 which indicates that in 1913, the station was located at 255 Walker Road. The numbering may have changed since that date.
Two sources, Vernons city directory shows it was across the street from the police station on Walker rd. north of the CN rail tracks
