Windsor Rail Yard – 1985

This snowy shot looking north towards Detroit, shows the CP rail yards. It was taken in January, 1985. Speaking of snow, drive safely today if you’re going out… I for one am sick of winter.

  • Sick of the winter it's just starting!! LOL that's a cold looking photo Ah! some nice to see a caboose on the end of that string of tank cars

  • It took me a while to figure out what those dark buildings flanking the Ren Cen are...when were Victoria Park Place and Royal Windsor Terrace dark, like that?

  • Gary--when I moved to Windsor in the Mid 90s the CBET-TV transmitter was full height - seems to me by the late 90s or early 2000s it had been cropped.
