We’re pleased to announce the 13th instalment of the ever popular Historical Train Slide Show series. Show #13 will take place on August 24th, 2013 at the shop’s screening space. Showtime is 7.30PM.
Show #13’s featured presenter is Pierre Ozorák from London, Ontario. Pierre will be presenting “Across Canada In Four Decades Of Slide Photography”. Pierre’s lens has captured seminal images of post-war 20th Century railroading in Canada at a wide variety of locations that showcase Canada’s expansive landscape, the varied industries and how rail transportation has changed through the years. His varied interests in architecture, equipment and infrastructure scenes will make for an exciting and enticing programme that will be presented in dual analog format – the first dual projection presentation since Helmut Ostermann’s AHKHTSS #8 in November 2012.
Pierre is better known locally of late through his work with the Forest City Railway Society as well as teaching at a french language school in the London area.
Look for more info on Pierre’s program, including an interview with him on the Action Hobbies blog next week.
Attached is the poster for the event, suitable for printing. Please forward this along to anyone who might be interested.
