Doors Open – 2010

Doors Open is back this year, and set for Sunday September 26th, so circle the date on your calendar!

Doors open this year will feature 24 sites, a couple of which are new to the event this year. Also new this year are the inclusion of a couple of Mid-Century buildings from South Windsor – Glenwood United, built in 1962 & Paulin Memorial, built in 1963.

More details and site descriptions can be found at the Doors Open Website -> http://doorsopenwindsor.com, or by clicking the logo above.

So save the date, I hope that you’ll support the event by visiting at least a few sites. The next event is planned for 2012.

  • Very nice list,
I will be exhausted between the driving ,taking pictures, asking questions,
    WOW,
    Gotta Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've been waiting for this since I heard about it back in March. I have the same feeling as Chuck. Between the driving, pictures, questions and watching my brother, this is gonna be a busy and tiring day lol. Glad to see Windsor doing this and hopefully it will become a regular (yearly, bi-yearly, etc.) event.

  • Just did the Doors Open yesterday for the first time. I dragged by wife and toddler around the city and got to see five sites before lunch. Excellant event!!!!! Our favorite was the new/old John Campbell school. Thanks to all the participants.

We hope to see more in 2012!
