Green Corridor

If you haven’t passed by Huron Church and College Avenue lately, you’re missing out on the Green Corridor outdoor art project.

One of the projects is this Dodge van, that’s stripped and full of holes and lit from the inside at night.

It must have been quite a job to cut all those holes!

A view of the inside, you can see the flood lights.

Natural air conditioning 🙂

The Neon that grows corn…

The car has been stretched out and the corn is watered by the giant water tank on the back.

Keep an eye on this over the summer, that corn will look interesting once it towers over the puny little Neon.

This ear sculpture is by Robert Wiens, was made completely of found branches and twigs.

More information on the project can be found here at http://www.greencorridor.ca/. Personally I think it’s neat, it adds some visual interest to an otherwise bland traffic congested stretch of the city.

Also to my American readers, have a safe and happy 4th of July long weekend. See you back here Monday.
