Statler Motel

On March 7th., I featured a post on Boose’s Tourist Camp.

This Post card is the same location, but in the late 1950’s. By this point it was known as the Statler Motel. I’m sure it was no realtion to the US Chain of Statler Hotels, one of which was located in Detroit until its demoliton in 2005. Photos here about 1/2 way down the page.

Notice that there is still a Cities Service Station (Today known as Citgo). The traffic light is the intersection of Eugenie & Dougall.
