The T.T. Bar, finally given a witty name again, after suffering though years as Studio East and Club T-Zers. When I first moved to Windsor it was the Booby Trap. Hey look, they have rooms 4 rent too…
My uncle used to live just up Church street from that laundry, and would drop his stuff off and they would wash it, and fold it. The first time I had heard of such a thing (I was maybe 10). I was scandalized by the thought of somebody else folding another person’s underwear.

I visit Mario on Ottawa Street, just east of Kildare. He’s been cutting hair since he came to Canada in 1957. Imagine a half century of doing the same job…

The *really* good chinese food is at Wah Courth Inn, it’s on University at Campbell.
It’s top two, the other being Jade, on Wyandotte near Ouelette.
Mike is right–it’s the Wah Court on University at Campbell–which actually is called the May Wah Inn now…great food, used to see Scotty Bowman there all the time. For Szechuan, Shin Shin on University across from the rotting hulk of Grace Hospital is great.

There are a couple of new, good Korean restaurants on Wyandotte neatr UW as well. One is called Naysa (full disclosure: I know the owners) and another half a block away. Great BBQ!
Mike, I agree Naysa is great. I haven’t been to the second one yet, but I plan on going before too long.
My grandpa used to rent one of the rooms above T-Zers (It’s back to T-Zers again) when my grandma would kick him out. When my mom’s family first came to Canada in 1967, my grandma worked at T-Zers (whatever it was called back then). She worked in the kitchen. For 3 days, until she found out it was a strip club. Even back then, it was a strip club.
