This old house in St. Clair Beach sat for years on the north west corner of Brighton Rd and Tecumseh Rd, the photo above was shot in 2002, and I guess the richie-ritches of Russel Woods and St. Clair Beach got tired of looking at it. I drove by a while back and noticed it was long gone. The historic nature of this old farmhouse must have clashed with the turdish McMansions all around it, either that or the value of the property went through the roof and the owners cleaned up.
The property is now a vacant lot.

Tear that schitt down! :)
I live around the corner. It's still a vacant lot, which is better to look at than a rotting old building. If you looked at it too long, you could get tetanus. Actually, in the summer and fall, there is a vegetable stand on that lot now. Maybe the original owner shouldn't have let the building fall into such disrepair.
That's too bad. There's around where the village 'proper' of St. Clair Beach started...
There's a couple old houses still in that area... One on the corner of Tecumseh Road and Derby Road... (the oldest house in the area).
