Located at Fort and Vinewood in southwest Detroit, I spied this handsome Art Deco building, with what looked to be some of Corrado Parducci’s work up above.
The building today houses the Latino Family Services, who have been around since 1971.
I checked in with my associate Einar who is the resident Parducci expert, and asked him to check his databases. Sure enough it is a Parducci, architect unknown.
It is a great example of art deco, and in fantastic shape.
Not much info on the fire Insurance Maps, but they do give a year of construction of 1930.

SWEET !
COOL! I worked there back in the mid/late 80's for Latino Outreach as a girl scout counselor. It is a great building from the inside, as well. Is there any chance you might post more Photo Du Jour in SW Detroit? I don't live in the state anymore, so I rely on DetroitYes and Photo Du Jour for my "home sweet home fix".
