First the Marquee goes, now the famous window paintings of the United Artists Building are being scraped off.
When will the madness end? Maybe the cynical demolition belief was mistaken? Maybe it is all a show for out of towners in town for Superbowl Kwame?

This might be a good thing. If they intended to demolish the building, wouldn't they just remove the windows altogether instead of preserving them by scraping the "offensive" graffiti off?
That's really terrible. So sad to hear this. I wish they would let people be free.
I guess they'd rather have people paint things on street-level brickwork... This was some good art, and once in a while, it's better this than seeing an abandoned building with unpainted windows. It was something a little different. If it's for the Superbowlers, they'll see right through it anyways.
I think it's all a sham for the Superbowl. I can't wait until that thing is done...
TEAR THAT SCHITT DOWN!
If they keep tearing stuff down Motor, You'll have a clear view to the river from your place.
