As always the Detroit International Marathon adds the element of running in two countires. Over the Bridge, under the Tunnel.
Here are the runners heading though downtown Windsor along Riverside Dr.
Turning the corner and heading south on Goyeau towards the Tunnel, passing the Windsor Police Headquarters.
Hitting the last refreshment stand on the Windsor side before entering the Tunnel. BTW – WTF kind of pants is that guy in the GM shirt wearing? I hope those are his lucky pants or something, because if not, he’s got no fashion sense….
On the home stretch of the Windsor leg, almost at the tunnel.
Spectators were there to offer encouragement and high five’s as the runners make the turn into the Tunnel.
Down you go, back to the other side…..
