I really like everything he incorperated into the image. Learning, hard work, railways, tires, gears, the river, a freighter, Detroit (I think I see the Penobscott building in there)Hiram Walkers (looks like part of the facility between the scholar and the woman with the flag)

The tall newest iteration of the Penobscot building (there are three dating back to 1905) that I think you’re referring to was built in 1928 two years after this drawing was made.
