Since we’re still close to back to school time, and a few weeks ago we hit Dillon Hall at the University, here’s a postcard of main campus of St Clair College from the mid 1970’s. While it may not be everyone’s favourite building, I think it’s got some interesting design to it, plus the architects Johnson-McWhinnie, were among the forerunners of using concrete in architecture as a exposed architectural elements here locally. It may be ugly to some, but I like it.
Would love to see some more early shots of St.Clair, interior and exterior. They seem to be hard to find!
I agree, Joel. You would think there would have been some course catalogs, or promotional material that would have survived, somewhere.
Hi I recently found this website and have taken pictures of a building at the University of Windsor that is currently being demolished (Oct 24-26). I already took pictures in April and I want to send them to the author of this website.
Please let me know how I can contact you (the author of this website)?
