I love the quaint wording…. Portage de jour…. Bowl of salad greens…..hearts of celery……. Elmwood dressing, I guess that would be like ‘house dressing’.

Fascinating! $5.95 = $53. In 1955 my legal father working in a Ford feeder plant was making just over $50/week. The Elmwood was always expensive for the common working man.
